The Board of Directors provides governance over the agency by exercising authority, control and direction which is carried out through policy. In addition to developing and monitoring policies, board members participate in a variety of tasks to ensure they provide a framework, engage in self-governance, direct operations and secure advocacy for the agency and all those involved.
