HIV/AIDS 101: The Basics of HIV/AIDS
This presentation covers definitions of HIV and AIDS, information on transmission and prevention of HIV, identifying myths and facts, and testing. This presentation can be tailored to the informational, cultural, religious and age-appropriate requirements of the audience.

HIV/AIDS 201: Living with HIV/AIDS
This presentation focuses on physical, emotional and psychological effects of HIV/AIDS. HIV/AIDS 201 discusses real-life stories, and is delivered by a speaker who is living with HIV/AIDS.

HIV/AIDS Stigma & Discrimination
This presentation discusses the social and psychological process of stigmatization experienced by people living with HIV/AIDS and provides an opportunity to examine and challenge perceptions. Topics include stigma, discrimination, and human rights.

HIV/AIDS: A Global Perspective
This presentation describes international statistics and trends, HIV/AIDS hotspots, and current strategies to address the HIV/AIDS pandemic.

HIV/AIDS & Women
In Canada and across the globe, women and girls are experiencing growing rates of HIV infection. This presentation focuses on the unique biological, social, and cultural factors related to women and HIV/AIDS.

HIV/AIDS for Health and Social Service Professionals
This presentation focuses on building the knowledge and tools needed to work effectively with patients living with HIV/AIDS. Topics include roles and responsibilities of service providers, occupational exposure, risk reduction, confidentiality, disclosure and human rights. The presentation is appropriate for both post-secondary students and those currently practicing in health or social service fields.

HIV/AIDS: The Biology of HIV/AIDS
This presentation introduces medical and scientific aspects of HIV infection. Discussion includes the immune system, transmission, the viral life cycle, and treatment.

Shift Community Based Presentation
This presentation explores working with people involved in sex work utilizing a harm reduction and rights based approach. The continuum of sex work is examined as well as how to work with active sex workers and those who have exited. We also provide an overview of violence, sex work laws, trafficking vs. sex trade and a variety of other sex work related topics.

HIV Pre and Post Test Counseling
This presentation will cover the fundamentals of HIV pre and post test counseling. It includes: types of testing available, the questions to ask before giving an HIV test, information to provide after the test result comes back, as well as role plays of testing situations. The presentation also addresses how to support someone who has received a HIV+ result. Participants will also learn about partner notification, and strategies to increase voluntary, informed testing.
