This year we've expanded the Walk to further involve the greater community and show our appreciation to our Walkers. Here's a few more reasons why this year's Walk is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet. 

Host 
2011 Gemini award winner Michelle Thrush of the acclaimed Blackstone TV series is set to host this year's Walk. Join Michelle as she leads us through an entertaining and exciting day of fun, music, cultural dancing and HIV/AIDS awareness.

Prizes
This year we've added some HUGE prizes; the person who raises the most funds will receive 2 tickets anywhere WestJet flies, courtesy of WetJet! Other prizes include a one night stay at the Fairmont Banff Springs Hotel and two nights at the Fairmont Chateau Lake Louise, just to name a few. Stay tuned as more prizes and incentives are revealed closer to our Walk date.

Community Market
We've added a Community Market which will coincide with the Walk. The Market will showcase a variety of local artists and vendors featuring their eclectic works. If you'd like to be a vendor in the Market, please contact Patty Fraser at pfraser@aidscalgary.org.

Pancake Breakfast
Also new this year, we're holding a good old pancake breakfast the morning of the Walk. This is a great opportunity to meet other Walk participants and celebrate all of the effort that has been done in the fight against HIV! Breakfast to begin at 10 am the day of the Walk.
