Join us and over 700 Walkers on Sunday, September 22nd, for the 2013 Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life. Since 1983, AIDS Calgary Awareness Association (ACAA) was created to address the real needs of those individuals who were living with and affected by HIV/AIDS. The Scotiabank AIDS Walk for Life enables us to provide diverse services to our growing client base.
Since the Walk's inception in 1994, we have raised over $1,500,000 towards the fight against HIV/AIDS in the Calgary area. Without this support ACAA would not be able to address our community's ever growing needs and many of our clients would be left behind. That's why every year so many Calgarians, regardless of their background, gender, age or race, participate by walking or volunteering in this internationally recognized event!
We want to hear your stories! If you have a past Walk story to share with us, please email us. To view photos from last year's Walk and other Walk-related events, please visit our album on Photobucket. Got photos you want to share? Send them to us and we'll add them to the album.
We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks for all the walkers, team captains, sponsors, donors, volunteers and staff who worked so hard and made last year's Walk a successful one!
