Loss & Grief

This workshop explores the process of loss & grief and how it relates particularly to HIV/AIDS. Participants will be provided with the opportunity to examine their own perception around dealing with multiple loss and grief issues.

Facilitators: Garth Goertz and Athena Dorey
Garth is currently the Team Leader of Support Services at AIDS Calgary and has facilitated numerous workshops around HIV/AIDS issues. He is in the process of completing his Masters degree in Social Work at the University of Calgary.
Athena is a social worker with Support Services at AIDS Calgary coordinating food security programs. She is also currently developing programming for women living with HIV/AIDS.

Date & Time: Thursday, April 18, 2002. 6pm to 9pm.
